Another advantage of starting at Four B is that you avoid the long haul up from Taupo. Excellent friendly service and even learnt a few words of Maori!“

What people are saying..

We had a fantastic ride around the Huka Trail thanks to Jonny and the team at FourB. We hadn't really researched the ride when we arrived but were given plenty of advice from the team while they got us set up with bikes, helmets, etc. The trail is nice - single track to begin with (as you go anti-clockwise from FourB) passing the Huka Falls then climbing up to look over the river. The views of the river, power station and prawn farm were epic. Further up the track turns to a 4WD road before crossing at Aratiatia Dam. Return trip is mostly 4WD road and flatter than the first leg. Took us 2 hours on the dot at an easy pace. A really nice ride. Thanks to the team at Four B for an awesome morning out.

Huka Falls Ride
Awesome bike rental and shuttles. Jonny and the team - nothing was too much trouble and their knowledge of the trails was great. The Avanti Hammer ELT bikes were perfectly serviced machines, easy to tune to our preferred riding style. Recommend the Great Lake Trails and the amazing Kaimanawa Helibike Descent, the latter we were able to do last minute thanks to FourB organising it for us and providing a bike rack when they were not able to do a shuttle for us at the 11th hour. Would re-use these guys in a heartbeat next time we venture to NZ North Island.

Bike Hire
Amazing day on the bikes! The staff was friendly and super helpful, and fun to talk to. They gave us great recommendations and it was a perfect day! If you want Great Lakes trail, make sure to book shuttle a couple days in advance! The views and ride were beautiful! We caught the aratiatia rapids right as they opened the flood gates which was super cool, and had fun talking to locals out on the trails as well!

Great Lake Trail
The staff are very helpful and friendly. Bike trails next door are great. They have suggested routes that are easy the follow, just follow the colored arrows on the posts. The bike rental also includes the park entrance fees.

Craters MTB Park
FourB saved the day (and our bikes)! Big shoutout to Amy, Corben, and Hayden for their life-saving bike fixes, endless knowledge, and genuine friendliness. We hit some bumps (literally) on our ride, but these awesome folks didn't hesitate to roll up their sleeves and get us back on track. 5 stars for expert service, top-notch tunes, and making our adventure epic! Can't thank you enough! ✨

Bike Repairs/Servicing
In early December 2023 we had one of the great MTB adventures with Jonny and the team at FourB. Over 4 days we biked in the Rotorua MTB, the Timber Trail and the Waihaha trail around the western bays of Lake Taupo. As we live in the South Island of NZ, logistically this was a challenging set of rides to plan and deliver. We needed a package which included accommodation, meals, good bikes - standard and ebikes and transport including numerous pick up and drop offs. FourB delivered the lot brilliantly without missing a beat. Jonny and the team were a delight to deal with. They were warm and friendly, provided helpful advice based on their extensive biking experience and were fun to be around. We can't speak highly enough of the service we received and how FourB made our trip so memorable. Without doubt we will be back for more...

Corban's Belgium Racing Update: Learning, Growing, and Chasing the Podium

Things have been going really well here in Belgium.

The racing has been incredibly fast and technical, and the first few races have been a big adjustment compared to what I'm used to back home in New Zealand.
